Babies!

Yup I've said it! today's post is all on baby pictures!

I went to my uncle's aqiqah for his 1st newborn grand daughter named Alesya Rifqah.

Note:I like "Rifqah" maybe I'll put it on one of my daugthers too.. (>.<) *dreams on~*

Anyways, the reason was because most my cousins are married and this is the year where all the crying babies comes out from their mother's womb. I had trouble remembering all of their names..since my family tree grows more branches each year =)

So today one of my best-ies got engaged! Yes you've heard me ENGAGED! Who'd known that the smallest and the youngest among us, four is getting hitched soon. Let's hope this time you're dead serious about it okay Nenek!

How ever disbelief I am then, I began to accept that we're not youngsters who once made havoc around the school, not the kids who'd scribble on the blackboard when the teacher's not teaching, not the weirdos who'd imitate sick couples trying to show off human's affection to the partner and most definitely not the same figures! We've grown to become ladies...capable strong ladies to withstand the gruesome life.

My brain is too focused on FFXII right now that I can't really tell stories about this delightful event.

This post is dedicated to that friend who has been there ever since I could remember. Congratulations my friend, may this experience makes you realize the responsibility that you're about to face and make physical and mental preparations for building a harmonious family with your loved ones =)

Pre Terengy-moon

13th June 2010 - Terengganu trip

Last week my family and I went to Terengganu in the school holidays for some relaxation. This year's trip is quite special at someone special tagged along as well..yeah good guess =)

We started out travel at night approximately 9.30pm and arrived there at around 5.00am. Along the we stopped at Pahang for some refreshment and shoot straight on to Terengganu. We stopped at Masjid Ladang for Subuh and rest for a bit to get some eyes shut.

After that we went to Uncle Alias's brother, Uncle Awang for a heavy breakfast. I get to eat my favourite Laksam! The Nasi Dagang there was a nice dish too! (^__^)/ After a lot of catching up done by my family, I gave in...the eyes can't open anymore so I borrowed their bed to lie down for awhile. Right after that we went to Pulau Kapas for a beach walking experience.

When we arrived there, my father and my bunny went straight to the beach and swam happily watching corals and fishes swimming in the clear blue sea. During the evening, we went touring the small island and watch the beautiful sunset. It was breathtaking.

The next day, we went to the other side of the island to snorkel. I joined in as well,so as my sister but she didn't go far due to unbraved heart =P. I on the other hand went to the middle to see spectacular view of the sea's heritage. I get to feed to fishes as well..they were colourful and friendly. Most of the time I spent snorkeling with the bunny of mine. I had a great time!

The next day, we went to Sekayu for a waterfall adventure. Right after breakfast, we went there and get our feet soaked in the cold water. It was refreshing...you can hear the insects screeching, the birds singing, the water flowing and the waterfall thudding the rocks. A moment of tranquility and peace.

After some dipping, we went on to explore the nature, we found lots of weird insects of shapes and sizes, but this shape that's carved by the water attracted me a lot. I find it quite cute =)

Along the way of going to Pulau Kapas and Sekayu, we get a chance to stop by to the 100% crystal-made mosque - one of the attraction there =)

The last day was filled in with souvenirs and food to bring back home for others to enjoy. Overall trip was enjoyable as I get to spend most of my time with the smelly bunny..lucky me \(^__^)/

5th June 2010 marks the most memorable experience in my life. It is the day when it feels like the world stopped spinning - honouring, the sun shone brightly for us - smiling, the wind caressed gently pass our cheeks - supporting and the nature stroke beautiful colours - welcoming us to the savour this special day together =)

Yes, it was indeed a celebration of life =)

Okay,I'm sorry it this post turns out to be all "mushy" and "lacey" but let's face the facts that when a person falls in love he/she only sees the bright side of life..and in my case, since I'm always have this mind of "The grass is greener on the other side" well it seems that the mind has changed to "The grass on the other side is having a flowery season" =P *just as expected I've fallen hard - right down the bottom*

Now the story, 4th June - like any other year - is when I aged another year. So every year, I get to have a birthday cake as a remembrance of how old I've become *even though my mind isn't growing parallel with my age* plus just to have fun of eating something fancy - like a cake =P

However this year, it turns out to be something really special and dear to me. The boyfriend came down to celebrate as well (^__^)/ As this was my 1st time having the other half for myself for one whole day, I felt rather awkward. Most of the time I tried to mix around with others and somewhat neglected him...I'm sorry smelly buns =(

Though I've done all those silly things, I was still loving his company. I don't do much talking since the eyes were busy working analyzing from far. Definitely a wrong move..teehehe silly me.


Anyways, we went on a day trip to Taman Mini Malaysia and spend almost half a day there. We looked at wooden houses from all parts of the country. It was quite interesting since my granny's house differ much from those of different region. The designs are simple marvelous and the information consumed overheated the little brain of mine. Growing up as a "city girl" I didn't get much chance to see all the traditional lifestyle and upbringings. So from visiting that place, I found out how people in the olden days found peace and tranquility in such modest lifestyle. They just manipulate nature's gifts and work together to preserve it. It was a nice sight seeing with lots and lots of woods involved =)

Then, after a long's day trip,we had our lunch and played a little bowling. After that we went home with a little surprise party which I myself didn't expect and eat rendang for dinner..

I have the best day of my entire life especially when spent with the sweetest boyfriend ever! Thank you so much for making my day meaningful =)

We share the same dreams and hope to continue this journey together

The Graduation

Wow it's been so long since I last post something in my blog..surely it has grown weary with spider webs and dust. Oh well, I've been lazy. =P

Okay let's cut to the chase, I want to tell you about my graduation day.


My ceremony was held on the 7th of May 2010. Earlier in the morning, we had our breakfast with fellow lecturers and staff of the Science Faculty. So I had the chance to chit chat with my lecturers and snap pictures as remembrance. I have to say that day I feel like a celebrity since everybody wants to snap pictures of myself =) and amazingly posing takes a lot of energy. I wore out after the day has ended. Even my jaw was unable to smile as it went stiff.



Then, after breakfast, we went to Maki (it's a big banquet hall)for our parade around the city. There were tons of people gathered. We have to line up according to our ceremony, so we're like sardines packed in a tin. Then, after the accordance we walked from Maki to Aotera Square, it's a bout 1 kilometer. I had fun because the left and right pathways were filled with people looking and celebrating us. The view was overwhelming and at an instant I was proud to be a part of the Parade. (^__^)/


After the parade, my friends and I went to Albert Park to snap some pictures. We had our family and friends session, tossing trenchers, jumping jacks, self portrait pictures and God-knows-what-pictures are all done in Albert Park. Snapping pictures had never been so much fun especially when you're wearing such grand clothes - The Regalia.


Later, at around 1.30pm my ceremony started. We had to line up according to our numbers and then a few marshals checked out names and fix our hood so that it looked presentable. They went and fixed it thrice!! I mean to that extend to only fix the hood?? But it shows that they want us too look smart while on stage =).

In the hall, I had a terrible headache caused from the flashing lights from above..the ceremony wasn't enjoyable at all, but I just want to experience the seriousness of hat-tapping moment..teehehe. Overall, the the whole day was a worthy experience that I will later pass on the my grand kids.

However, the best ever experience was waiting for me outside KLIA, with checkered-red-shirt holding an orange paper bag, patiently waiting for my arrival (^__^)/ That's the moment that I like to recapture all over again!! I love that day so much!Plus, I got this huggable cutey..

To tame the Kancil

Today I went out with Mom to fix her Kancil. Originally, we were suppose to go to the post office in Tesco to settle my ASB application. I wanted to some what "invest" my money so I can be a little bit prepared for unforeseen events like paying up medical bills and what not. However, since it's really hot and sweaty Mom decided to stop by the workshop to have the air conditioner fixed.

So we went to the near by workshop. Having thought that the gas was out, Mom said it wouldn't take long. However, the foremen told us that it has some leakage problem and later said the cooling coil has been very old and dusty. He took out the bumper, together with the plate number and the signal lights. There were 2 foreman attending the car. From the looks of it, I can tell that one of them was an apprentice and the other was a pro. The apprentice was scrutinized by his mentor and he was learning as he did his job. While the pro took out stuff from the inside of the car. After dismantling,cleaning, air jacking and screwing parts back to respective places, the apprentice then filled the gas tank with R134a gas, while the other checked the pressure and temperature.

It took approximately one hour to finish the service. I've noticed a couple of things during my visit at the workshop - the etiquette of the foremen. I thought there sights were rather interesting.

1. Foremen can't live without the intake of nicotine.
Observation: For that one hour, they consumed 2 3 buds of cigarette per individual.
2. Foremen need leather and thick shoes to work.
Observation: Only the mentor wore sandals while the rest wore black,thick and leathered shoes, stomping here and there as they work.
3. Foremen wear big baggy pants with lots and lots of pockets.
Observation: Everybody there wore the same type of pants except for the mentor aka retired foreman perhaps.
4. The skillful foremen has less black oil and smudges on their hands and attire.
Observation: just by looking at the apprentice and the pro.
5. Foremen have very fancy hair dos.
Observation: The apprentice has his hair dyed and slightly brushed to the side with one studded ear and the latter has his all spiked up and dyed dark brown.
6. Foremen have all the nice poses while fixing the car.
Observation: Just by screwing a few tight area, many actions were performed. I was rather amused by their poses.
7. Foremen cleaned up all the mess after they've finished their work.
Observation: One of them took out a broom and later throw out the rubbish.

By just that one hour, I've seen much to conclude that foremen work with style, though they work with machines and oils. It was a nice visit to the workshop =)

Delirious days: part 3

13 March 2010: Meet the in laws
This is the most blissful day of my life..after lots of happy things happened to me - the grand blow of all happiness! Wohoo~

So that day I woke up all hyped up but a little bit nervous at the same time. It's not because of what might my parents think but I'm worried what he might think about my family. My family were very well informed of him. They know him from tip to toe since I always report back to them.

Before the day itself, my mother has been bothering me on what to cook. I just told her NOT to freak out like that and cook a simple dish. It's not the 1st time people coming to our humble home and not the 1st time Mom cooks delicious dish for guests. Well maybe Mom wanted to be extra welcoming, for the person who's coming is the future son-in-law..teehehe Mom was very funny, she freaks out more than I do.

He came around 11.30am and he text-ed me saying he's right in front of my house. So I asked Dad to fetch him - since he's waxing his Saga, Mom ended up welcoming him I think. I on the other hand was trying to calm myself down. Right after that Dad came and chit-chatted with him. I have no idea since I was busy in the kitchen. Then I came out to serve drinks and later join in the company. I didn't talk much since Dad talks a lot - like really A LOT - and occasionally laughed. He had lunch with us and continue to talk some more. (It's a get to know each other session - what do you expect?)

Then Dad brought him to the new shopping mall and he let us go our own way accompanied by my sister and gave a little tour in the shopping mall. The time spent was mostly in the soft toys section. But that was the time for me to actually spent time with him. It was really nice walking, talking, laughing with him together with my sister. I didn't feel awkward at all.

Next, we went to have "evening tea" at Tengkera. We ate the famous Mee Sup in Melaka and then went back for prayers. Right after we went to MIBC to have a little bowl. I was waiting for that since I didn't get the chance to go out and play bowling since my cousins are all spread out and they didn't get to go back Melaka for holidays. My skills are all rusty so I ended up placing 3rd and 2nd for the 1st and the 2nd frame. Yeah, I've should have know that Mr 171.5cm has really good aim which placed him 1st in the both frame. The marks didn't matter much to me since I was focusing more on seeing how happy he was back then. He was showing his sunny side all throughout the game. I was the luckiest person to enjoy the scenery =P

Then we went back and he had his last dinner with Dad before he finally took off. Seeing him mingle with my family pretty much told me that both sides are comfortable with each other and I'm really thankful for that.

Delirious days: part 2

11 March 2010: Alai Ikan Bakar with 5K1
Today, the five of us: Chea Fann, Lyn, Ting Ni, Wai Leng and I went to have an ikan bakar fiesta in Alai. Lyn picked all five of us and I was the last one she picked up. Using her White Saga, at approximately 7.45pm she reached my house. Then Chea Fann crashed over for awhile to go to the loo..teehehe. Right after that, off we go to Alai. So I was accompanied by 4 leng luis =)

As I was seating at the back with Chea Fann so the conversation was just the revolving the two of us. Chea Fann told me that the everybody in the car knows about Mr 171.5cm! Wow, I was pretty much amazed! I didn't know that my page was that popular. Oh well girls will always be girls..gossips just spread around like a deadly virus. It's kinda exciting to be the one who actually ignite the decease. (^__^)/ But I couldn't help but to blush all the way to Alai as they tease me quite a bit along the journey.

Right after we arrived, Lyn,Chea Fann and I went to choose the seafood available: Bamboo lala 300g to be cooked with cili padi, Squids about 5 of them for squid fritters and one big fish for 3 Rasa. while waiting we ate a basket of otak-otak. Then we talked and talked while eating. As expected Wai Leng and Ting Ni didn't have big appetite like the rest of us. So we're very lucky to clean it all up. =)

Finish eating, we took some picture together at the stall. Then Lyn went to pay up - total cost was RM 62 but since the Pakcik there was really kind, he cut down to RM 60 - and right after that we went to Dataran Pahlawan to cam whore some more =) Wai Leng taught me the "Hiao Po" pose, but I couldn't get the tweaking thing going on so I just gave up. We happily went back at around 11 pm.

Delirious days: part 1

Over the days I have been much happy spending time with the ones I love. I enjoyed every single one moment spent with them. (^__^)/

10 March 2010: A trip to Kuala Lumpur
The three musketeers went to spend time together in the big girls' city. we went there by bus. The original plan was to take a bus right to Pudu, but since I'm not so confident about the place itself so I suggested another alternative that I normally take that is taking a bus to Seremban and then taking a komuter.

Along the trip we talked almost every minute possible - catching up stories of one another. In addition that was the time, I too get to meet my darling sweetheart. I didn't plan it at first but my friends wanted to meet him so I at least have an excuse to ask him out. Lucky! =) I've been wanting to meet him for so long and i couldn't possibly let the chance sly away just like that. We had lunch together, we captured memories together, we've talked and walked around side by side with each other. I really had my day just surrounded by him. Not to mention my friends did give us some lee way so spend time with each other. Thank you guys for being such supportive peeps..

Going back was hard as I'm not really good with farewells, sad - I know, but he helped to ease it a bit. I was quite speechless when he actually send my friends and me off. I just don't know what else to say...only buds of love just waiting to bloom in the heart of the maiden. U just have no idea how u made me feel that day. We went home summarizing the whole trip. Everybody had a fair share of their thoughts and was contented at the same time. Right after we got back, we had out dinner and talked some more reminiscing the trip that we just had..planning to go a little bit further next time..right guys?
