Till Death Do Us Apart

Yesterday i received a short text message from dad saying that one of my cousin's boyfriend has passed away from an accident. Then after i've replied it, my dad called saying he might go and attend the funeral ceremony.

But today i rang home and finally i got the real gist of the story. Mom said that Acap *my cousin's boyfriend* didn't get involved with any accident, he just fell down from his motorbike. Then my mom went on saying that he has this feeling of dying about a month before. Even the lecturers noticed his difference. He said that he doesn't want to further on his studies since he's dying soon. He's a not as enthusiastic in learning anymore...Then right before the day he went away, he told Che-ah that he's dying and he gave her his personal things like his pin number and what not.

As someone close isn't it shocking enough? He even wanted her to keep his watch. But she said he should wear it..She must be really tough. Mom said she cried and was down for a moment but after Pak Lit came and visit her. She was able to accept the fact that he's gone forever. As for me..i stil can't believe that he's gone...come to think of it, he's just as the same age as i am..so death doesn't discriminate...when ur time comes, u can't do anything about it.

But people tend to forget how every single day, every single second and every single breath that we take, we are actually much closer to death..so if people are aware of it then crimes shouldn't occur anymore, disputes should be disengaged, and most importantly wars should be stopped. People will do good instead and help each other to be better people.

I guess this is why God hides the time of death of each people. He wants us to think and act as what we think is right. He wants us to be good at our own conscious but at the same time guides us through Islam, Al-Quran and Hadiths so we are not left astray.
